I tend to be a bit of a messy man and Kevin can attest to the revolting cluttered mess that is my actual desktop.  I guess this could be a bit of a Mary Sue comic in that I hope my desktop becomes this clean, as there are currently several hundred icons stacked upon each other in organized chaos.

There comes a point when you reach the event horizon of clutter where it becomes mentally too strenuous to clean and you are trapped forever.  I’ve skirted that line frequently and dangerously but have come closer than ever now.  My current computer has been a true friend to me these past 4-5 years and I’ve finally filled it to the 800GB brim with crap.  The problem is that I need to wade through the mire and select what is not actually garbage, but rare and precious memories or files to keep.

Tons of artwork, music, photos and I haven’t even scratched the surface.  The thought of wiping the thing makes me anxious with fear that I may eradicate something important forever but I don’t want to do a full transfer over to load my new hard drive down in its early life.

I guess I’ll just have my hard drive sitting around in case I need to call on it again to find something but with the way I keep my room, it may become lost in the dark vortex that is my living space.
