Weddings are a grand expression of love and commitment.  A veritable trumpeting of devotion… and oftentimes a crippling monetary sinkhole.

I often wonder if I’m just giving into social pressures when I think of how I would like a wedding.  I’ve seen many non traditional weddings take place and original weddings consisted of just a few people pledging devotion to one another without ceremony or governmental evolvement at all.

Being a therapist’s kid, I’m always questioning my motivations for my feelings and actions.  This has led to some powerful insights on my own personality but it is just as often it leaves me in a gridlock of knowing my own flawed reasons for wanting something but being too engrained with the reason to change.  This kills the artist.
