I’ve been playing a plethora of survival/post apocalyptic games recently namely The Walking Dead and This War of Mine. While I haven’t been able to spend a lot of time with them with all the work I’ve been doing, them being the only games I’ve really gotten to play has had me thinking about them a lot more. This War of Mine was one of the most intense and important games I’ve played in years. It’s the first time I’ve seen the perspective of civilians in a war game and had me realizing that if things were to go down where I live I’d probably be one of the ones to kick the bucket.
I think as time goes on that sense of invincibility kinda fades away as you realize just how vulnerable your various parts and pieces are. Hell, I need medication to keep me going in the society we live in now, what would I do in the one after?
If my life has taught me anything it’s that you gotta know what’s important. That’s why the Candy Corn would be the obvious choice for my survival list. I haven’t been able to survive a Halloween without it, so logic dictates that I must continue with my consumption of that most delicious of holiday treats. And if my video game skills at all translate to my real world survival I would expect my post apocalyptic lifespan to give me a cozy 30, maybe 40 minutes.

BOORRRINNGGG…. You need more comics with Kevin in them. Those are the real comics right there.
Good thinking! Candycorn is definetely the right choice! It will have an unimaginable value!
Do you wonder why we are given so many of these post apocalyptic visions lately in games, series and movies? Is it really coming?
