Ok, so this one isn’t particularly funny but I needed a jumping off platform for the next series of comics to come.  I’ve written down a series of comics for when I had a bunch of medical issues my last semester at the University and I needed somewhere to start.  Well, while it probably started 2 years earlier with the random stomach pains that started intermittently plaguing me this was the moment I decided that it was serious enough to see a professional about it.

This was also the first moment in my life I literally thought I could be dying.

Don’t worry, I don’t plan on kicking the bucket anytime soon and the comic isn’t going to quickly transform from a light hearted slice of life journal comic to a greek tragedy.  It was, and still is, a pretty big part of my life though so I might as well explore that with you.

I plan on this being an ongoing “storyline” I guess, though I’ll still have non doctor related comics going on throughout so we don’t get medical burnout.  I also didn’t have to actively deal with it every day so it’s more true to life.
